The 17th Xiamen Stone Fair will be held on March 6-9, 2017 at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center, China. The total exhibition area will be 180,000 sq m with over 2,000 exhibiting companies from 56 countries and regions all over the world. 

 

In Xiamen Stone Fair 2016, the new exhibitors accounted for 20% of the total 2,000 companies. Czech, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan participated for the first time. Xiamen Stone Fair 2017 will continue to recruit new products in the global scope, and optimize the structure of exhibitors, so as to spotlight the most abundant and high-quality stone samples.

 

Xiamen Stone Fair 2016 received 148,573 trade visitors totally, 28,690 among whom were international visitors representing 148 countries and regions. We will enhance cooperation with famous stone associations and institutes in every corner of the world. It's expected to attract more than 150,000 trade visitors in 2017 edition.

 

According to the latest China Construction Plan issued in May, China will invest about 4.7 thousand billion CNY in transportation infrastructure construction in the future three years. Large scale of infrastructure construction such as roads, airports and railway, will consume a large amount of iron, copper, aluminum, titanium and stone resources. Other important events also to be held in China, such as G20, revealing the promising development of Chinese market in the future.

 

After 7 years endeavor, World Stone Congress (WSC) is now a series of much anticipated events and seminars dedicated to discovering trends and innovations of stone industry. It has become one of the MUSTs for people attending Xiamen Stone Fair. World's top architects and designers gather here annually for conversation and communication. In 2016 edition, MIA and BSI (known as MIA+BSI, the Natural Stone Institute) participated for the first time, offering a wide array of technical and training resources, professional development, regulatory advocacy, and networking events. In 2017 edition, more well-selected seminars in new products Launch Out and Educational Sessions are expected.
