South India's Largest Construction and Interior Fair
BuildMat is one of the largest bi-annual Construction Fairs in South India hosted by the Coimbatore centre of The Builders' Association of India, The Indian Institute of Architects and The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers. So far more than 500 exhibitors have participated in the fairs held in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015. Buildmat 2017 will be held at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore between Feb 2nd and Feb 5th of 2017. Being a prestigious Construction Event conducted by Builders, Architects and Engineers, BuildMat showcases global trends in Construction and Interior products and invites core industry participation from Builders, Architects, Civil Engineers, Project Management Consultants, Property Developers & Promoters and Suppliers & Franchisees. The target sectors include Educational Institutions, Hoteliers, Hospitals, IT sector, Textile and Engineering Industry, Retail home buyers and Government Authorities.
The 'Big 3' who host this event include The Builders' Association of India (BAI) headquartered in Mumbai was started 75 years ago and has 63,000 members in 130 centres across India today. Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), a national body of architects started in 1971, which has about 15,000 members today. IIA is represented on various national and international committees connected to architecture. The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers(I) started in 1985 has its headquarters in Bangalore and has a national presence of over 2,500 members.
Buildmat 2017, the 8th successful bi-annual construction fair hosted by the 'Big 3' is expected to attract about 5000 professionals, decision makers and 50,000 potential business visitors from core construction industries and infrastructure driven businesses/organizations. Over 90% stalls have already been booked. National and International Exhibitors including Construction Material Manufacturers, Service Providers and Members of the Trading Sector and Interior Products Fraternity will be participating in this fair.
BuildMat 2017 is expected to provide a platform for B2B and B2C interactions around the construction ecosystem creating profitable opportunities and better exposure to global trends for both the industry players and end consumers.
