Staging eight grand performances from 1987 to 2008, STONA, the international granites & stone fair is all set to give its 9th performance from February    4 – 7, 2010 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). The exhibition will be held for the first time at this venue, which offers its exhibitors, services and amenities of the highest quality at par with international standards.

The air conditioned venue is located within 18 km from the city centre and beautifully landscaped. BIEC provides 40,000 sq m of covered space in three aesthetically and functionally designed exhibition halls, with adequate outdoor area for display, suitable for showcasing large and heavy machines, granite and marble blocks etc. VIP lounge and business centre are attached with every hall. The conference centre, the food court and other support services for exhibitors' and visitors' comfort make BIEC a unique and most sought after exhibition centre in India.

STONA 2010 showcasing the unique range of India's colourful, eye-catching natural stones and presenting a platform that helps in demonstrating the capabilities, capacity and the most modern and latest techniques in the craft of stone working.

STONA 2010 is being organised by All India Granites & Stone Association (AIGSA) and Co-organised by Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) with the aim of giving the natural stone industry in India a significant growth opportunity with higher visibility, a professional oriented visitor profile and extremely efficient business development modules.

Who is who from the domestic as well as foreign industry will be taking part in STONA 2010. The Fair will provide an excellent and unique opportunity to showcase your products in an increasingly competitive environment and interact with industry people from Italy, China, Turkey, Egypt, Japan, Korea and other European countries.

The last STONA held in February 2008 was special as its organiser, AIGSA celebrated its 25th year in the service of stone industry. Addressing the gathering at the inauguration of STONA 2008, Kamal Nath, erstwhile Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, asked the Indian stone industry to put forward problems faced due to rupee appreciation and assured to look into that.

STONA 2008 excelled over its previous editions and had several features to mention such as seminar on Natural Stone in Architecture, Geological Seminar on Dimension stone and Shilpgram, the artisan ethnic village set within the Fair premises.

STONA 2010 is a perfect podium, a great single window that will project India's natural stones, products and creative ability to make and supply anything to everything. Its past performances make it a strong option for participating and visiting, and getting applause for its contribution towards the growth of Indian stone, industry, granite in particular .
