The day XIAMEN STONE FAIR 2009 closed its doors after a hectic 4 days schedule in March, 2009 at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Centre, Xiamen, China the organiser set its wheels to roll further aiming to hold XIAMEN STONE FAIR 2010 from March 6–9, 2010. Its new brochure has already reached all concerned carrying brief on the forthcoming fair.
The fair promises to showcase the latest introductions, innovations, technological advances, design solutions and services to the attendees from all over the world.
As seen at XIAMEN STONE FAIR 2009, for exhibitors there is no better way to sell stone, and for visitors there is no better way to buy stone except meeting face to face at the vibrating platform of the fair. This is why number of exhibitors and visitors keeps rising with each edition of the fair. In 2009 where exhibitors number was 1,211 it is expected to be 1,300 in 2010.
To maintain both the quality and quantity of the visitors, which was 86,713 including 13,896 overseas visitors, the 2010 edition of the fair is supported by an extensive promotion programme: • Advertisements run in all the main trade journals serving stones, architecture and building, as well as kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, landscaping and fireplaces. • Regular press releases to 150 publications, newspapers and websites. • E-mail and direct marketing from an extensive database built up from organiser's past nine years successful experience. • Inviting professional visitors at global stone exhibitions held all over the world. • Comprehensive coverage within the main international stone press.
The 10th edition of XIAMEN STONE FAIR will feature World Stone Congress again. Looking to the response the event received in 2009 during the 9th edition of the fair, the organiser decided to hold the event annually during XIAMEN STONE FAIR.
Supported by famous stone associations and professional stone magazines around the world, World Stone Congress proved to be an unprecedented success in 2009. Excellent speeches on the topic "Opportunities and Challenges of Stone Industry in Today's Economy", which were given by chairmen from well-known stone associations and prestigious stone experts, attracted more than 500 delegates from all over the world. It gave answers to the current economic challenges, through exploring new concepts and ideas, creative solutions and cooperation.
Amids the global economic crisis, unsteady market and shaky industry XIAMEN STONE FAIR is like a light-tower on the turmoiled sea. In 2009 the fair exceeded all expectations with a solid performance on all fronts keeping hope alive for a better time ahead. XIAMEN STONE FAIR 2010 is sure to keep the expectations high with repeat excellent performance.
And why not ? Xiamen today is regarded as the largest stone capital of the world. Its importance in China and in the world is unchallenged as it represents close to 60 per cent of the whole Chinese natural stone market. China presently is number one importer of stones in the world and Xiamen and its neighbouring area boast of 1,000 trading companies and 6,000 stone processing factories. This makes the fair an important destination for manufacturers and exporters. XIAMEN STONE FAIR 2010 is the platform to do business and establish longlasting business relations.
