Born in potter's family, Amarshibhai's life is a true story of “Rags to Riches”. His father was working as a potter in Sultanpur, a village in Gujarat. As was natural, Amarshibhai  used to help his father to  make clay pots. When his father shifted to Morbi in Gujarat to earn his livelihood, Amarshibhai also came to Morbi town and joined Parshuram Pottery Works Co. Ltd. as a daily worker.
